The Abia State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting transparency, professionalism, and responsible public communication through stronger collaboration with government institutions in the state.

This was made known on Tuesday, May 26 2026, when members of the Institute paid a courtesy visit to the Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State state Governor on Due Process, Oluebube A. Chukwu, in his office in Umuahia.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Institute in Abia State, Onyinye Ralph-Nwachukwu, said the delegation came to appreciate the SSA for his outstanding contributions to public service and his commitment to professionalism as a respected member of the Institute.

She noted that the visit also provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions on how both institutions can work together to encourage ethical communication practices, accountability, and improved public trust in governance across Abia State.

According to her, effective communication and strict adherence to due process remain critical pillars for sustainable development and good governance.
Responding, Oluebube A. Chukwu thanked the Institute for the recognition and described the visit as a demonstration of the growing synergy between professionals and public institutions in the state.
He reiterated his resolve to continue upholding due process, transparency, and professionalism in the discharge of his responsibilities, while also supporting initiatives that promote ethical standards in public administration.
